After a hugely successful first season, it seems the brains behind hit TV series, Empire and one of its lead actors, Terrence Howard, have come against troubled waters as they are now facing a billion dollar law suit.

According to a report by TMZ, Ron Newt, a friend to the Jackson family, is suing the makers of Empire for a billion dollars claiming that the show is a carbon copy of a documentary he did about his life as a gangster and drug peddler.
He alleged that he met with Terrence Howard some time ago and they talked about the documentary which was titled Bigger than Big.” Terrence was said to have developed keen interest in the idea and even offered to play the role of Ron in the flick.
