After Nigeria lost to the United States 1–0 in a Group D Women’s World Cup match on Tuesday night, Falcon coach Edwin Okon apparently refused to shake hands with American coach Jill Ellis.
Now he’s being dragged by foreign media. I saw one in particular titled ‘Meet Nigeria’s handshake snubbing, no scouting, all praying embarrassment of a coach” which I found hilarious…though a little disrespectful which was published on slate.
